Mahjong Competition Rules ("Chinese Official"). My book came out this week, and I'm off to Copenhagen. With apologies to American mah-jongg readers, I must continue focusing on MCR. Scoring exercises. The final tile shown at right. Let's ignore flowers, but score for both self-pick and by discard.

1. All Pungs (6), two Terminal Pungs (2), One Voided Suit (1), No Honors (1). Two-way wait, exposed. If by self-pick: 13 (add 2 for Two Concealed Pungs). If by discard: 10.
