Shanghai and Ningbo

The next block over, there was a gated street. Look, this is China, right? But you know what this street reminds me of? Chinatown. Chinatown Los Angeles. Chinatown San Francisco. Chinatown Yokohama. Chinatown, wherever in the world you see a Chinatown. So why shouldn't they have a Chinatown in Ningbo too? Right?
Haven't turned the corner into that gated "Chinatown" street yet. See, Ningbo is quite modern. Big digital billboard.
And non-digital billboards too. China is very into soccer. That's what this billboard is about: soccer.

...No, I'm not a soccer fan. Why do you ask?

Okay, now we're entering the shopping warren. Make sure you bring a big enough trunk so you can carry all the stuff you buy!
They're busy at work, making the clothes you can buy here. Talk about "just in time manufacturing"...
And now we were back out the other side.
This is Tianyi Square at night.
And this was our last look at Ningbo. In the morning we rode back to Shanghai.
