TOM'S EXCELLENT HONG KONG ADVENTURE 2002

The Elusive Mah-Jongg Shop -- But Good Sightseeing, Regardless

I went looking for a mah-jongg shop Alan Kwan had told me about, near my hotel. I didn't find it, but I saw a few things worth taking pictures of, along the way.

A very picturesque little old temple, sandwiched between new buildings (and the roots and branches of a giant old tree)...

Hong Kong may be part of China, and bibles may be illegal in the mainland, but Hong Kong is designated a "Special Autonomous Region" (SAR), so anything goes in Hong Kong...

I love the names of restaurants and business in Hong Kong...

I mean, I REALLY LOVE the names folks give their businesses there!
